CPAP Subsidy in Singapore

Save More on Your Sleep Apnoea Treatment

If you have been diagnosed with moderate to severe sleep apnoea, you
may be eligible for government subsidy on CPAP therapy.
Singapore’s Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) recommends Positive
Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy as the standard treatment — and has
enabled subsidy support to improve access for patients.

How Much Subsidy Can You Receive?

Eligible patients may receive:

  • 30% – 70% subsidy on selected approved CPAP/APAP devices
  • Applicable when prescribed through government hospitals

Who is Eligible?

You may qualify if you:

  • Are Singaporean or Permanent Resident
  • Are aged 16 years and above
  • Are diagnosed with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA)
  • Have a doctor’s prescription for CPAP/APAP therapy
  • Are enrolled through a government hospital

CPAP Trial Requirement

To qualify for subsidy, patients are required to complete a 1-month CPAP trial:

  • Use the device for ≥ 4 hours per night
  • On ≥ 70% of nights

This ensures the therapy is effective and suitable before long-term commitment.
