RaVoR™ Bipolar Electrodes, Single Use

Specialty

Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

RaVoR™ (Radiofrequency Volume Reduction) Bipolar Electrodes (Single Use) is an interstitial application for submucosal tissue shrinkage. Radiofrequency energy causes deliberate local lesions through the short and selective heating of certain tissue areas. The treated tissue is decomposed by the body‘s own immune system and transformed into fibrous scar tissue. This process leads to a shrinkage and stiffening of the treated area. Sutter has developed different bipolar electrodes for the treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders based on the anatomical sites of obstruction. Ideal for treatments such as turbinate reduction and soft palate coagulation, they offer reliable performance and seamless integration with Sutter RF generators.
